If you are familiar with my work, then you know how i love old photos….i would spend hours as a kid going through and looking at my mom’s old photographs…now i spend hours in my studio tweaking old family photo’s….and today was one of those days.
Most of the photos i use in my work are of my own family…and today i was back to looking for inspiration in an old box of pictures…i spend hours scanning and cataloging old pictures and even negatives , and then i play with them in photoshop long before they ever reach my paintings…the photo below was one of a dozen i worked with today, i have no idea when it will make it into a painting…..
…but its ready for when the time comes…..

Recently i was asked to be a part of a show where Jeff Schaller , Robert Mars and myself would collaborate together on 6 panels…the end results will be in a show in May outside of Philadelphia .
we are also working on paper to create a postcard for the show which is called “Snap, Crackle, Pop”….these are just a few images of the work as it come trough my studio, Jeff did the lovely lady in black and white and i have added my touch and now it has been sent back to Jeff to finish…i can’t wait to see it finished!
i’ll keep posting as they comes along….this is my first collaboration….unless you count the voices in my head, that is!
